Macey turns 14 and I am a Crafty Lady

Well I thought that I would take advantage of this extra energy and motivation I have been blessed with lately before it disapears!! I don't have any Valentines decorations so I thought I would make some! I love doing crafts and even though they might not be perfect, I love that I made them!!

I made this sign with some salvaged wood, a little spray paint and some vinyl! It's about 3 1/2 ft long! I love it!! I didn't notice that the line where I erased the pencil mark showed up so well!! Better fix that!! Russ is so good to spray paint most of my projects for me and Macey is a great helper!!

This isn't for Valentines day- it's for Macey's newly painted- and in progress of being decorated - room! I have been having fun with Pinterest!! I found this cute idea, it's just scrapbook paper mod podged onto canvases! So cute!

Another Pinterest find- this is a wreath made out of-wait for it- toilet paper rolls!! My family probably thought I was crazy yelling in the bathroom every so often "Save the cardboard!!" I am not really fond of the way it turned out but everyone else thinks it's cute.

Believe it or not this teeny, tiny, little project was a BIG pain in the butt!! I took a wire hanger and bent it into the word "love", which took forever and lots of mistakes and then wrapped red yarn around it!! I love it though!!

I love playing around with my Cricut and found some really sparkly paper so I threw this together! I found the cute foam hearts at the Dollar Tree!!

I love making wreaths!! This one cost all of $7 so that made it even better!!

Well Macey turned 14 this month!! It kinda bothered me a bit that she is getting older! I didn't take it too hard when Haley grew older but I guess since Mace is my baby it's a little tougher!! Usually I am better at Birthday cakes trying to do them myself or finding cute ones but I took the easy way and bought a (not so cute) ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins this year.

Cassie is trying to sneak out of the picture! Caught ya anyway Sis!!
