We are indeed coming to a close of our summer vacation- well the girls summer vacation- all it is for me is endless phone calls and texts saying "Macey is being a brat" or "Haley won't help clean!" Geez!!! Go back to school already!! Well besides California for Macey and a car for Haley we had, a severely sprained ankle on the first day of a $400 basketball camp, an article written in a ATV magazine about Russ, a emotional farewell to our very favorite soldier, a new job for Haley and a contract for a full time job for Russ, a fun filled 4th of July in Delta, the only place to spend it, and lastly the horribly bad news that my little sis Cassie is moving her family away from me!! I am very sad that I won't be able to see her and her little family as often as I do now!
So now things to look forward to! The incredibly awesome Sheilds family reunion!! Always so freakin much fun mainly cause my family is freakin crazy!! Also we are looking forward to re-decorating the girls' bedrooms for their Christmas presents! I hate to shop and the older they get the harder it gets to buy for them so this is a great solution for me! They are getting older and turning into their own people so it's nice that they can make most of the decisions themselves! Looking forward to turning 36 in December, NOT! Looking forward to having some fun road trips so that Cassie's kids don't forget their favorite aunt! Looking forward to no car pool for school since Haley has her license now as well as no running kids to young womens, the library, the store or anywhere else! I am taking advantage of the fact that she WANTS to run everywhere for me right now-pretty soon it won't be as fun!!! Looking forward to Haleys very first hunt!! Russ has waited 16 years for one of his girls to be interested in hunting with him and his patience has finally paid off! She has an elk tag and is excited to go hunting with her dad! A guy in the sporting goods department at her work has been trying to sell her a gun (actually I think it's flirting with the girl that will actually talk about guns with him but....) LOL!!!
Well I can't think of anything else we are looking forward to right now so I guess life is good and we are just here enjoying it!!!
